We are a well-functioning health center located in central Ystad with 14,800 registered patients. Here, there are excellent communication opportunities by both car and public transport. Those of us who work here have a broad competence in health and medical care, meeting patient needs in various areas. Furthermore, we actively work with preventive care to strengthen health and encourage patients to take responsibility for their lifestyle and health.

About 60 employees work at the health center, offering complete primary care where nurses, district nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nursing assistants, dietitians, social workers, and psychologists collaborate with the patient at the center. The health center also has several training positions within different professional categories. Our staff has varying lengths of experience, creating a good and creative combination of experience and innovation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now welcome two specialists in general medicine. With us, you will have the chance to work in a team with good collaboration in an open and permissive climate where there is understanding for individual needs.

In your role as a doctor, you will closely collaborate with the various professional categories working with us, creating good opportunities to get to know each other. The work involves standard tasks at a health center such as planned and acute consultations. We hope you have the knowledge and interest in working with home healthcare.

We are a large workplace and constantly work to strengthen collaboration within our area of responsibility and would like you to be involved in influencing the continued development of the Health Center Ystad. Your competence and engagement will be valuable resources for us.

Working hours are scheduled from Monday to Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you as a licensed physician with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare with specialist competence in general medicine. You have language skills in Swedish corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale. We appreciate a strong interest in general medicine and home healthcare.

We believe you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a cross-professional manner. You have a mindset that focuses on possibilities rather than obstacles. Additionally, you have the ability to build trust with patients and relatives and are positive, attentive, and clear in your communication. Furthermore, we see that you both have the ability and willingness to actively contribute to the development of the organization based on existing needs. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
